Overview
The Avaya IP Office Small Office Edition provides
all the latest functionality and application support normally reserved
for the larger high end corporations. The advantages become clear
when you consider benefits of an expensive, corporate system built
into a more cost effective package.
The IP Office Small Office Edition is designed with the small business
or home office in mind. This system can provide a PABX with Voice
mail and Auto Attendant. Improved functionality means the IP Office
Small Office Edition system can support Broadband Access, VPN (Virtual
Private Network) and WiFi (Wireless Access Point).
Depending on the model, the IP Office Small Office Edition can
support upto a maximum of 28 extensions, (16 IP, 4 Analog, and 8
Digital). This allows the simultaneous use of analogue devices such
as answering and fax machines with digital or Voice over IP phones.

All of the IP Office Small Office Edition models have four Ethernet
Switch ports (layer 2) and a dedicated Ethernet WAN port (layer
3), which makes the system ideal for connection to internet services
like ADSL and Cable broadband. With Voice over IP as standard and
the optional IPSec security, the system can be quickly configured
to provide secure voice and data networking back to a head office
over the broadband connection.
