Regular contract term is 12 months. You can move to a higher or lower plan anytime, free of charge, if your needs change. All plans come with a free hosted personal 10MB website, a BigPond email address, webmail access and a mailbox quota of 20MB, with the option to have up to seven additional email addresses ($1 per month each).

1. Speeds shown in downstream/upstream format. 20000kbps plans not available to all customers. All speeds are theoretical network maximum speeds, apart from the 8000 and 20000kbps download speeds which are based on Telstra tests. Actual speeds may be less due to a number of factors including network configuration, line quality & length, exchange type, customer premises interference, traffic and equipment. About 50% of customers on the 20000 kbps plan can access speeds around 10000kbps or more. About 70% of customers on the 8000 kbps service can access speeds around 6000 kbps or more.
2. Usage (MB and GB) means combined upload and download data transfer allowed per month (except for some traffic provided from time to time by BigPond at no cost). For the purposes of calculating usage, 1 Gigabyte = 1000 Megabytes. Unused usage forfeited. Additional usage charged at $0.15/MB.
3. BYO modem: Please make sure your modem is on the list of Telstra-approved ADSL modems. We offer only limited technical support for BYO Modem Members as our services focus on our own BigPond-supplied modems. However, our Help Centre is packed with installation and troubleshooting tips for the commonly used ADSL modems on Telstra's list.
